Dan has held various positions within the ORMAT group of Companies, with assignments including geothermal resource acquisition, project feasibility, financing, and regulatory affairs. In particular he has been instrumental in developing geothermal projects in Nevada and California.
He is a member of the Boards of Directors of the Geothermal Resources Council and the Geothermal Energy Association. He is a member of the Western Governor’s Association Clean and Diversified Energy Advisory Committee (CDEAC), the Nevada Governor’s Renewable Energy Task Force, and the Steering Committees of the UNR Renewable Energy Center , and the Great Basin Center for Geothermal Energy.
Dan holds anMSEE from Columbia University School of Engineering, and a BEE from Cooper Union School of Engineering
