DATA ON ALL DEVELOPING HAWAII POWER PLANTS

Update on U.S. Geothermal Power Production and Development: August 7, 2008

State Summary:

Two power project are under development in Hawaii. The projects are expansions to the Puna power plant. The expected MW has only been released for one project. This would supply 8 MW of electricity, meeting the power needs of 8,000 households throughout the state.
