1)
Location of Potential Project:
Black Warrior is located eight square miles south and
east of Black Warrior Peak, Washoe County, Nevada.
2) Type of project:
Black Warrior is a flash geothermal power plant. At
the Black Warrior Project, potential for the discovery
of a geothermal reservoir suitable for electric power
generation is indicated by temperature gradients greater
than 200°C/km throughout the leased area in ten
wide spaced drill holes by Phillips Petroleum in the
early 1980.s
3) Status of project:
The Company has initiated field investigations at the
Black Warrior Project. The geology and regional fault
structures appear to permit deep circulating ground
water to be heated by anomalously high rock formation
temperatures. Black Warrior is currently in the exploration
stage, with geology and T-gradient drilling completed.
