Update on U.S. Geothermal Power Production and Development: August 7, 2008

State Summary:

Between confirmed and unconfirmed projects, a total of 45 projects are under development in Nevada, which would eventually supply 1082.5 – 1901.5 MW of electricity.* This could meet the energy needs of almost 2 million households.

*For 13 of those projects, the MW values have not been released.
