In 2005, Nevada had 15 power plants, with a capacity of 297.4
MW. Together, these 15 plants produced a net-total of 1,268.7
GWh during the year. That is expected to increase in 2006 because
the newest plant, called the Richard Burdett Power Plant (formerly
Galena I), has only been generating power since November of
2005. More new plants are under
development.
