PRELIMINARY AGENDA

This workshop will consider geothermal projects from a variety of viewpoints, including the financing, investing, marketing, resource and policy perspectives. 

Please come and hear experts in a fast growing industry!!

Confirmed presenters include representatives from the Building and Construction Trades Council of Northern Nevada, US Bureau of Land Management, Calpine Corporation, Geothermal Energy Association, Geothermal Resource Council, Glitnir Bank, Iceland America Energy, Jacob and Company Securities, Nevada Conservation League, Nevada Power, Ormat Nevada, Raser Technologies, Sierra Geothermal, Stoel Rives LLC, US Renewables Group, UTC Power, and Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.  Additional presenters from across the spectrum of geothermal companies are expected, and will be listed in future announcements.

National, state and local political leaders in renewable energy are also being invited, and will be announced when confirmed.

In addition, GEA will release a nationwide survey of geothermal power projects under development.  A presentation on the report will be part of the workshop.
